Going on the title, the article´s author tried to answer the question which of two languages was faster.

Going on the numbers presented in the article, the difference is neglible or can be explained by measurement error.

So it is reasonable to ask why that could be the case. Why is the speed difference between these 2 compiled languages neglible, what could explain that?
